Chase Announces Virgin Atlantic as Newest Ultimate Rewards Point Transfer Partner

Chase Card Services announced the addition of Virgin Atlantic as its newest Ultimate Rewards point transfer partner.

The new partnership will enable Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, and Ink Bold cardholders to instantly transfer Ultimate Rewards points at full value to Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club.

Ultimate Rewards’ new partnership allows cardholders to redeem points for travel on Virgin Atlantic to London and destinations all over the world.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Miles can be used for flights, upgrades, and even unique experiences in the UK to make a trip even more memorable.

Once transferred, points can be redeemed for travel and upgrades on Virgin Atlantic, or one of their many travel partners, including Air China, Air New Zealand, Cyprus Airways, Gulf Air, Hawaiian Airlines, Jet Airways, Malaysia Airlines, SAS, Singapore Airlines, South African Airlines, Virgin America, and Virgin Australia.

Points are transferred at full value, which means that 1 Ultimate Rewards point is equal to 1 Flying Club mile.

Points can be transferred in increments of 1,000, and there are no limits to the number of points cardholders can transfer to Flying Club.

In addition to the point transfer benefit to Virgin Atlantic and other travel partners, eligible customers can use 20% fewer points when you redeem for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

For example, a $500 airline ticket requires just 40,000 points.

Ultimate Rewards point transfer partners now include Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Amtrak Guest Rewards, British Airways Executive Club, Hyatt Gold Passport, Priority Club Rewards (IHG), Korean Air SKYPASS, Marriott Rewards, Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and United MileagePlus.
