    I didn’t think you had to be a cardholder to get two free checked bags.

    Hello Patrick,

    You are correct. All passengers receive 2 free checked bags when flying on Southwest Airlines with their Bags Fly Free policy.

    “Southwest Airlines does not charge for your first or second checked bag. Book a Southwest flight today and save up to $120 roundtrip when your Bags Fly Free. Applies to first and second checked bags. Baggage weight and size limits apply.”
