Bank of the West L.A. Area Branches Offer up to $150 New Checking Account Bonus

Bank of the West is offering up to a $150 checking account bonus either online or at their new L.A. area branches through March 8, 2013.

Update: This offer has been extended and updated to now be available online as well as in branches.

You’ll get up to $150 when you open a new checking account at one of the new Bank of the West branches in Burbank, Toluca Lake, and Chatsworth.

You’ll get $100 for setting up a direct deposit and $50 for using your debit card.

Bank of the West Promotional Details

All offers are valid only for new Easy Checking, Choice Interest Checking, or 55 Plus Checking accounts opened online or at the Burbank, Toluca Lake, and Chatsworth branches by March 8th with a minimum checking account opening deposit of $100 or more with funds new to Bank of the West.

These offers are not available for existing bank customers with an open checking account as of January 25, 2013.

Customers who received any consumer bonus from the bank between 1/25/2012 and 1/25/2013 are not eligible.

To receive the $100 bonus, you must establish a direct deposit of at least $250 (2 or more direct deposits that add up to $250 do not qualify).

Your direct deposit must be payroll, Social Security, pension, or other government benefits.

The first direct deposit must be posted to the account by 5/31/2013.

To receive the $50 bonus, you must request, receive, and use a new Bank of the West Debit Card for 10 or more debit card purchases per month for each of the 2 full calendar months immediately following the month of account opening.

Each purchase must be $3 or more.

All required purchases must be posted by 5/31/2013.

The total of combined consumer bonuses is limited to $150 and cannot be combined with any other consumer offers.

There is a limit of 1 combined consumer bonus per mailing address.

Your account must have a positive balance as of 5/31/2013 to be paid any bonus.

The combined total of bonuses earned will be credited to your open checking account by 6/28/2013.

Any account that meets the eligibility requirements as of 5/31/2013, but is not in an open status when the bonus is paid, will not receive the bonus.

These offers do not apply to second or multiple checking accounts.

An early closure fee of $25 will apply if an account is closed within 91 days of the account opening date.

If you do not qualify for a checking product listed in this offer, you may be offered an alternate checking product to which the bonus may apply.
