The City County Employees Credit Union in Clearwater, Florida, offers a $25 bonus to new members through their referral program.
When a current member refers a new member to City County Employees Credit Union, the new member will receive a $25 bonus, and the current member will be entered into a monthly drawing for a minimum $50 prize.
In order to qualify for the $25 bonus, the new member must open a checking account or loan, enroll in eStatements, and fund the new account within 30 days of opening.
New members will receive the $25 bonus once the checking or loan account has been open for at least 60 days.
Membership in City County Employees Credit Union
Membership to the credit union is restricted to employees and retirees (and family of eligible persons) of:
- City of Clearwater
- Pinellas County
- City of Largo
- Town of Belleair
- Members of CWA Local 3179
- Residents of Bel-Keene Neighborhood
- Residents of University Park Unit 1
- Residents of Normandy Park Neighborhood
- Residents of Live Oak Neighborhood

Current members can pick up a member referral card from the credit union or download it from their website.
The new member must present the referral card at the credit union upon opening a new checking or loan account.
The new member must open a checking account or loan (a savings account is acceptable for Youth Accounts).
The new member must enroll in eStatements and fund the new account within 30 days of opening.
The $25 award will be paid approximately 70 days after an account or loan is opened.
The $25 bonus will be deposited into the new member’s primary share savings account.
Although the current member only gets entered into a drawing for a prize, it’s still a good way to help your friends and family members earn an extra $25 when they open a new account.
