The qualified referee must open a Bank at Work checking, Checking with Interest, Free Checking, Liberty Classic, Liberty Advantage Checking, Quest, or UltraQuest account in a First Citizens branch.

The referred individual must present a completed referral form at the time that the account is opened.

The account is subject to standard opening balance requirements and account opening approvals.

Minimum opening balance requirements are $50 for Free Checking, $100 for Checking with Interest, Liberty Classic, Liberty Advantage, Quest, and UltraQuest, and $0 for Bank at Work.

The account must remain open and in good standing for 30 days to qualify toward the cash bonus.

Savings accounts and business accounts are excluded from this program.

The referer will earn a $25 cash bonus for each qualified referral for up to 5 referrals (max of $125) within a calendar year.

The referee will earn a $25 cash bonus for opening a qualified referral account.
