I am going through the same thing right now. Dealing with the &#039;customer service&#039; inside the branches is pointless, those people are simply uninterested about the customers. 
I just walked out of one branch after waiting for 10 minutes and listening to &#039;customer specialist&#039;s&#039; personal conversation. He did not even bother to look at me and inform me that it will be another minute or two...

So right now I am talking to the 1800 customer service and they are filling out some kind of form that will take care of the 150$ deposit into my account.

Once that is deposited I am closing my account. The only other bank where I have seen such bad customer service was bank atlantic or something like that on east coast of FL....</description>

		<description>Has anyone had trouble recieving the money from Suntrust? I have been given the run around for months now. Opened the account in April, still have not recieved my first $50. I have placed several inquiries with Bill Pay Dept. and been told everything is in order and I should recieve it by various dates that never manifested. Going back to my local branch today. What compounded the problem even more was that I had already initiated several automatic billpayments which the bank failed to cancel when I lost my online access. Still working with Sun Trust to attempt to recover fees--so far, their customer service is not very customer friendly.</description>

Satisfied SunTrust customers more than likely are not leaving reviews. The only negative thing I can recognize banking with them for a while is that they may post signature transactions/credit a few days after the purchase was made. Pay attention to your available balance and one will be fine with SunTrust.</description>
