I’d used the pens to promote my personal finance site Free From Broke. I’d make sure to always have one on me to hand out to people I meet. I’d also give them to friends and family.
As a student I would offer them up to fellow students (they always need a pen!).
I’m thinking I could leave them at ATM’s/banks as well (but not in a litter way).

I would use the pens to promote my tax preparation and financial consulting business. I really believe that I provide more value than most of my “competitors”, since I actually take an interest in the financial well-being of my clients!
I would use them in conjunction with my business cards when speaking to someone about my company; and I’d also mail a few out around Christmas with a magnet and card to existing clients.
This is definitely a unique giveaway.
I would use the pens to promote my blog – Personal Finance Whiz. I would give a pen to my server every time I went out to eat.
I waited tables for 2 years while I was in college. Most restaurants require their servers to bring a certain number of pens with them. We would almost always use promo pens since we didn’t want to actually go spend money on pens.
If I can get my pen into the hands of 50 different servers, my logo and message would be seen by hundreds of people as my pen is dropped off with each check.
I would give the pens away at my church function, to help the homeless. This would be a great way to spread the need for food donations.

I will use my personalized pens for our public defender’s office. Due to budget cuts, we’re overworked and underpaid. In addition, we’ve been without an official leader for the past year, since our last boss quit. Our best attorney was finally given the job and morale is starting to lift. Pen = Tool. I will give the pens to people that need to better manage (maximize) their money. Managing their money will enable them to have their money work for them and live large.
