Here is the previous Chase bank bonus offer for reference purposes.

Chase is currently offering a $100 bonus when you sign up for their Free Checking Account with Direct Deposit.

Simply sign up for the Chase Free Checking Account with Direct Deposit by November 30, 2007, with a minimum opening deposit of $100, and you will get $100 deposited into your account within 10 days.

The Chase Free Checking Account does require a direct deposit to avoid the $6 monthly fee, but there is no minimum balance requirement after the required $100 minimum opening deposit.

However, you must keep the checking account open for 6 months in order to avoid having the $100 sign-up bonus deducted upon closing the account, although we’re not sure if they would go so far as to create an overdraft on your account if you didn’t have at least $100 in your account when you closed it.
