    Hello Muni,

    I do not know exactly when the Chase Freedom Card $150 cash bonus offer after $3,000 in purchases began.

    However, I have seen sources on the Internet referencing the Chase Freedom $150 bonus since as early as January 2008, so it was probably in effect at the time you applied for the card.

    Credit card issuers sometimes require that you apply through the specific promotional application in order to receive the offer, as they track each individual application to apply the appropriate bonuses and terms, and not all applications offer the same promotions.

    Therefore, your application for the Freedom card may not have been tied to this specific offer for the additional $100 bonus after $3,000 in spending.

    However, I’ve had good experiences with Chase customer service regarding their various bonus offers, so you may want to print out a copy of the offer and send it to Chase to see if it will apply to your account.

    If you explain that you meant to apply for this special promotion and wanted to make sure it was going to be applied to your account, they may be willing to work with you.

    Thanks for your tips and it worked. I send them a message that I intend to apply for this offer and attached the offer in the email. Finally Customer rep accepted and said they will give $100 bonus after accumulating $3000 in purchases and there is no specific time period to accumulate it.
