The inaugural Yakezie scholarship is currently accepting essays from high school students and below for hundreds of dollars in free educational funds, but you must submit your essay by December 6, 2010.
Enter the Yakezie Scholarship to win hundreds of dollars for educational purposes such as books, tuition, supplies, field trips, equipment, and school-related expenses.
You’ll need to submit an essay from 700 to 1,000 words about 1 of 3 topics:
1. Who is your hero and why?
2. A time when you failed or did not live up to your full potential.
3. What kind of skills do you learn through sports that can help you succeed in life?
It’s free to enter the scholarship, and you could win hundreds of dollars toward your education.
If you aren’t eligible to enter, you can also donate funds to the Yakezie scholarship in order to help young students achieve their educational goals.
