Delta Reserve Credit Card Bonus Miles and Free Annual Companion Ticket

The Delta Reserve Credit Card from American Express offers bonus miles and free annual companion tickets, making it an excellent airline rewards card if you frequently fly on Delta Airlines and participate in the Delta SkyMiles rewards program.

The Delta Reserve Credit Card offers up to 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) after your first purchase of any size.

You’ll also get 15,000 MQMs and 15,000 bonus airline miles in any calendar year that you spend $30,000 or more on the card, plus an additional 15,000 MQMs and 15,000 airline miles when you spend $60,000 or more in that same year.

Medallion Qualification Miles are not redeemable and can only be used towards upgrading your Delta SkyMiles membership to Medallion status.

However, once you are a Medallion Delta SkyMiles member, you’ll have access to special benefits like Automatic Upgrade Requests, Priority Boarding, Mileage Bonuses, and Medallion Marketplace access.

Medallion Status Level Requirements are as follows:

- 25,000 MQMs achieves Silver Medallion Elite status.
- 50,000 MQMs achieves Gold Medallion Elite status.
- 75,000 MQMs achieves Platinum Medallion Elite status.

Each status has its own benefits, and you could easily achieve the higher levels if you take advantage of the opportunities to earn bonus MQMs.

The Delta Reserve Credit Card offers 10,000 MQMs after your first purchase, and up to 30,000 MQMs per year, plus you can get up to 30,000 bonus airline miles per year, which can be redeemed for free flights and airline ticket discounts.

Delta airline miles can be redeemed for free flights or you can pay for a portion of your Delta ticket with your miles through the Delta Pay with Miles Program, where 30,000 bonus miles can be redeemed for $300 off the price of your airline ticket.

In addition to the bonus miles, the Delta Reserve Credit Card offers 2 miles per $1 you spend at supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, home improvement and hardware stores, and the U.S. Postal Service, plus you’ll get 1 mile per $1 you spend everywhere else.

The Delta Reserve card provides a free annual first-class companion certificate, which can be used for a first-class or coach-class ticket.

You’ll also get complimentary Crown Room Club access for you and 2 guests, access to 24/7 American Express Concierge Services, and many other benefits.
