British Airways Signature Card 30,000 Bonus Miles

The British Airways Visa Signature Credit Card is now offering 30,000 bonus BA miles for new British Airways credit card applicants.

Just apply for a new British Airways Signature Card, and you’ll earn up to 30,000 bonus miles with qualifying purchases.

Bonus British Airways Miles

You’ll receive 20,000 bonus miles after your first purchase or use of the card, which will be credited in 6 to 8 weeks after you qualify.

You’ll receive an additional 10,000 bonus miles after you spend $750 on your new British Airways credit card.

You’ll also receive 2.5 BA miles for each $1 spent on British Airways flights, land products, and vacation packages, and 1.5 BA miles for every $1 spent on all other purchases.

You only need 25,000 BA Miles for a reward flight within the U.S. on their partner airlines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, or 50,000 BA Miles for a reward flight to Europe on British Airways.

The promotional landing page also indicates there is a $50 discount on British Airways airline tickets, but the fine print indicates the discount is valid for bookings through December 31, 2009. We feel this is probably a mistake, and the landing page should be properly updated, but that’s the information that is given at this time.

The same is true for their free companion ticket offer, so it’s a little unclear if these additional promotional offers are still available for the British Airways Visa Signature Card.

However, the 30,000 bonus miles offer is definitely valid, so you may still be interested in taking advantage of this BA credit card bonus.

The British Airways Signature Credit Card does have an annual fee of $75, and if you don’t qualify for the signature version, they may provide you with a different card that is not guaranteed to offer the same promotion.

For these reasons, the Chase $100 Bonus Travel Rewards Card may be a better option, as there is no annual fee, and you’ll earn a $100 bonus after your first purchase of any size plus have access to additional travel rewards.
