Chase is enhancing its Chase Sapphire Preferred Card by adding chip-and-signature EMV technology to the card’s suite of travel rewards and benefits.
The EMV addition is designed to deliver exceptional value to international travelers.
Chase Sapphire Preferred with EMV technology will simplify transactions for travelers abroad in countries where chip-and-signature technology is used and add to the cards other travel benefits such as no foreign transaction fees.
The card features a microchip as well as a traditional magnetic strip to accommodate merchants in the United States, providing customers with ease-of-use while traveling abroad or purchasing at home.
