Anytime you can get an Amex card with no annual fee is always a plus. Technically its not free because you have to pay the costco membership fee, but at least you are getting some value for your money. The other important thing to note about this card is that the 3% gasoline rewards is only good for your first $4000 anually, which takes 6-8 months to hit depending on the type of car you drive.
