Expedia+ Credit Card Bonus up to $350 in Hotel Coupons

I just received an email from a Citibank marketing representative about 2 new cobranded travel credit cards from Citi and Expedia, the Expedia+ Card and the Expedia+ Voyager Card, which offer up to $350 in coupons that can be redeemed at +VIP Access hotels.

The Expedia+ Credit Cards from Citi are designed to maximize your earnings in the Expedia+ travel rewards program, as card members can earn bonus points on your purchases and enjoy complimentary +Gold or +Silver status, depending on which card you have.

Expedia+ Voyager Card from Citi

The Expedia+ Voyager Card offers 25,000 Expedia+ bonus points after $2,000 in purchases within 3 months of opening your account, which is redeemable for $350 in coupons at +VIP Access hotels, but there is a $95 annual fee.

You’ll earn 4 points per $1 on eligible Expedia purchases, including flights, hotels, activities, and vacation packages.

You’ll earn 2 points per $1 on dining at restaurants and entertainment purchases, plus 1 point per $1 on all other purchases.

Expedia+ Voyager Card members enjoy automatic Expedia+ Gold status each year of card membership.

You’ll also receive a $100 annual statement credit that can be used toward airline incidentals on qualified airlines, Wi-Fi carriers, or for the Global Entry application fee.

Plus, you’ll get 5,000 anniversary bonus points when you spend $10,000 in the prior card membership year.

There are no foreign transaction fees on purchases.

However, there is a $95 annual fee for the Expedia+ Voyager Card.

Expedia+ Card from Citi

The Expedia+ Card offers 15,000 Expedia+ bonus points after $1,000 in purchases within 3 months of opening your account, which can be redeemed for $200 in coupons at +VIP Access hotels, and there is no annual fee.

You’ll earn 3 points per $1 that you spend on eligible Expedia purchases, including flights, hotels, activities, and vacation packages as well as 1 point per $1 on all other purchases.

Expedia+ Card members enjoy automatic Expedia+ Silver status each year of card membership.

Plus, you can accelerate to +Gold status when you earn 1 Elite Qualifying Hotel Night towards Expedia+ status qualification for each increment of $2,500 in purchases made on the card between your January and December billing statements.

There is no annual fee for the Expedia+ Card.

Eligibility for Expedia+ Rewards Bonus Points

Expedia+ credit card bonus points will appear in your Expedia+ rewards account within 6 to 8 weeks after you have met the purchase requirements.

The bonus point offer is not available for the same card again if you have had an Expedia+ Voyager Card account or Expedia+ Card account that was opened or closed in the past 18 months.

However, if you have had one of the cards, it looks like you may be able to qualify for the bonus points with the other card.
