You must allow 6 to 8 weeks after purchases totaling $2,500 or more have posted to your account within 5 months of account opening for your bonus FlexPoints to be credited to your FlexPerks account.
This card has a $0 intro annual fee for the first year, and there is a $49 annual fee thereafter.
This could turn out to be a lucrative promotion, as Team USA is currently kicking some butt in London and racking up the medals.
As of August 9th while I’m watching the U.S. women’s soccer team battle Japan for Gold, the United States has a total of 35 Gold, 23 Silver, and 25 Bronze medals, which is equal to 25,750 bonus points and counting.
You could also apply for this alternative FlexPerks Travel Rewards Card Promotion, which offers less bonus points overall, but there is also a lower spending requirement to qualify.
Take advantage of this credit card promotion that offers bonus points based on the Team USA Olympic medal count.

I’m new to FlexPerks so what’s the current total of 25,750 worth?
Hello Devon,
You can get a $100 statement credit for each 10,000 in FlexPoints, so the 25,000 bonus points are worth $250 as a statement credit, or you can get other rewards as well.
I’m guessing that the bonus will be up around 30,000 FlexPoints by the time Team USA wraps things up at the Olympics, so it will probably be worth around a $300 statement credit, which is much better than their standard promotion right now.
Hope this helps and good luck. Max
