I’m not seeing the bonus $250 bonus….I just see $100 (10,000 pts). Looks like you can get the extra $150 by spending $30,000 in a year, but that’s not practical.
Finally got the link to work to get the 25,000 bonus point offer, but found: “Offer not available to existing consumer American Express Charge Cardmembers”. Already have an Amex…bummer.

Yes, you will be able to qualify for the special Premier Rewards Gold Card bonus offer.
Existing AMEX charge card members will not qualify, however, existing AMEX credit card members will be able to qualify.
The Delta Gold SkyMiles card is a regular credit card, so just as long as you are not an existing charge card member, you can qualify for this Premier Rewards Gold charge card offer.

So what is the difference between a charge card and a credit card? I currently have an Amex Clear card, and thought I did not qualify…but I guess it depends on whether it is a charge card or a credit card. I’m confused…

A credit card provides a revolving line of credit, which allows you to carry a balance from month to month and make minimum payments while paying interest on the balance of your loan.
A charge card must be paid in full each due date, so you cannot carry a balance from month to month, but you will also not incur any interest charges.
The Amex Clear is a credit card, and most card issuers provide credit cards, but American Express provides a few different charge cards, including the Premier Rewards Gold Card.
If you do not have a charge card from American Express, then you can qualify for this promotion.
