BP Thank You Days Free $10 BP Reward Cards Promotion

BP Thank You Days is offering free $10 BP Reward Cards for filling up with gas at your local BP gas station, valid through March 1, 2011.

Just fill up with 8 or more gallons of any grade of BP fuel at your neighborhood BP station and ask for a Loyalty Card from the cashier.

Then scratch the card to reveal its unique code, and enter your BP code on the BP Thank You Days Promotional Website.

After you make 5 qualifying purchases and enter your 5 unique codes, BP will send you a $10 BP Reward Card in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

BP Thank You Days Details

All qualifying purchases must be completed between 12/1/2010 and 3/1/2011, or when Loyalty Card supplies are exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Employees of BP, its parent company, jobbers, dealers, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as including spouse, biological or step-parent, grandparent or step-grandparent, child or step-child, sibling or step-sibling and the spouses of each of the foregoing), regardless of where they live, or households (whether related or not) of any of the foregoing are NOT eligible to participate.

To obtain a $10 BP Reward Card, you will need to make 5 qualifying purchases at a BP station.

A qualifying purchase consists of 8 gallons or more of any grade of BP fuel.

After you have made a qualifying purchase, you will need to present your receipt to the cashier to receive a Loyalty Card.

Scratch off the Loyalty Card to reveal a code.

Visit www.thankyoudays.com and follow the on-screen prompts to enter your mailing information and the code found underneath the scratch-off material on the front of your card.

After you enter the code, you will receive 1 purchase credit.

Once you have collected 5 purchase credits and have entered all 5 codes at www.thankyoudays.com, you will automatically be sent 1 $10 BP Reward Card to the address submitted during the registration process.

There is a limit of 1 registration per person and/or email address per household.

There is a limit of 3 $10 BP Reward Cards per person and/or email address per household.

The $10 BP Reward Cards will be shipped by mail or courier, without prior notification, within approximately 4 to 6 weeks after 5 purchase credits have been entered at www.thankyoudays.com.

All 5 codes for qualifying purchases must be entered by 11:59:59 p.m. (CST) on 3/22/2011 to be eligible for this program.

The $10 BP Reward Cards expire on 9/6/2011.

    Look, you can’t just buy everyone, some of these people I understand are going to yield that easy, but I’m not. I’ll tell you when you are off the hook for your fuck-up! You need to pull customers back to buying your gas!? GOOD, that shows me that at least people were smart enough to stop patronizing your stations to show you that you need to be punished for your irresponsable actions, all they have to do is keep you on the hook awhile. So don’t try to entice me back to buying your gas to get a free $10.00 card, big woop, your gas is so overpriced you could give me a free card every week and never catch-up.     Just came from a fillup and when I went inside to get my rewards card I was told by the manager that she no longer will have them because BP said that she gave to many away!! It was suggested that I drive around and find another BP that might still have some cards!!! I may just drive right to another station all together and not stop at a BP FROM NOW ON!!!

    Better check with the cashier if they have any cards left before pumping your gas and drive off if they don’t! I think the employees are keeping all the cards for themselves/family/friends because they have been “out” for 3 weeks and other stations won’t give you one of “their” cards either. SCAM

    Black eye to BP, running out of the gift cards a month before the deadline. I put in three codes, bought a fourth tank, and now they say they have no more cards and won’t get any more. Now I’m 4 tanks deep into this scam (only got 3 cards) and no more are available. I wonder how many people get 3-4 tanks into this before their BP “runs out” of cards. I’ll look around town at other BPs, but this promo is quickly turning on you BP.

Get the go inside to get loyalty card they are out,sorry Mgr. states she ordered them possibly not going to get anymore.     Let’s see now. We will have a 4 month promotion to win back some of those customers who are still slightly disgruntled over our little slip up in the Gulf of Mexico.
    We will have the promotion run for 4 whole months, even though we are only going to supply enough loyalty cards to last for the first 6 to 8 weeks.
    If the “SMALL PEOPLE” would read the fine print on the promotion, they will see plain as day that it states ” All qualifying purchases must be completed between 12/1/10 and 3/1/11, or when Loyalty Cards are exhausted, whichever occurs first.”

    Come on BP! If you think that your customer base was not P*@*$D off enough when you put all of your petroleum product in their sand. Lets wait and see how happy they will be when you put sand in their petroleum product, bend over and smile :)

    I am not sure if one would call it discontinuing, or just conveniently running out of rewards cards extremely early. Who knows, there may be a good market for unused BP “LOYALTY” codes on Ebay. A hell of a lot of people seem to be left holding 1, 2, 3, or 4 cards, or just a boat load of gas receipts, with promised cards on the way.

    I haven’t had a bad episode with any BP employee.. I started using BP gas because I was in the area of availability. Did not notice money back program for quite a while. A BP employee noticed that I wasn’t getting any cards even though I was getting about $200 per week. Thanks to BP employees at Tarentem PA.

    Stopped at my favorite BP station today and put $45.00 worth of gas in my truck. This was the last number I needed. Went inside to get my loyalty card and was informed there were no more cards. Was told that BP ran out and that they were broke. The signs are still being displayed advertising the loyalty cards. The promotion is still good until 3/1/2011 or until loyalty cards run. BP made sure they did not have enough loyalty cards to last until the expiration date. BP may have won this battle, but not again. Will no longer use BP. Will go with HESS and/or Marathon. Hopefully, the rest of you will go with me.

    I’ve been a loyal BP customer since I purchased my new Chevy Tahoe in 2002. I fill my truck every week, and was excited about the “Thank you” reward card. However, I have only gotten two cards, and I have at least four fill-up reciepts. The stations never have the cards, how can I get my other three cards before March 1st.

    I have three receipts but the BP is out of cards. She said to try another station. We went to another local station and they also said they were out of cards. As I was talking to the employee I noticed stack of Loyalty Card and about 10 cards scattered on the counter with codes scratched off. I guess the employees are enjoying the rewards benefits and not the customers. Need to find a better way to give rewards to the people spending money at your business.

It’s been impossible to find a reward card for weeks despite being constantly told that “we will have some more on Thursday (or Tuesday) or whatever.” Really poor planning on BP’s part. How do they track that employees are not stealing the cards?

    Despite the notoriety BP has experienced and problems with my local station which gives anything but good service,I have always remained a faithful customer. This is why I am so angry about the latest promotion which I had hoped to take advantage of but unfortunately could not as my station was able to provide me with only 1 card, telling me after each fill up that he had no more cards.     Yes it would seem that BP has bilked the public again, as I have not been able to get a code card since the middle of February the stations are always out of them, and do not tell you until you have filled the tank. The local BP Hucks station does not even claim to sell BP gasoline anymore.

    BP customer service sent an address for me to send my receipts to and receive codes, which I did do, and today three weeks later was informed that BP customer service had misinformed me and therefore returned my receipts and NO CODES, another $1.32 in postage for nothing.

    This is definitely a scam. I have four codes entered and only needed one more. I purchased gas at my local BP and they said they were out of cards but I could go to another station and pick one up. I went to another BP station and they had cards but said they would not give them out to anyone unless they bought gas there. I contacted BP who said “You can still obtain a loyalty card by mailing in your original receipt along with email address to the address (below)”. I did that back on February 2nd and only today received a letter back saying “we are unable to compensate you for the purchase” Too bad so sad….!! What a rip off. I swear this was a scam from the beginning and I will boycott all BP stations from now on. Long live Speedway, Flying J, and all the other gas stations!! BP has lost my loyalty with this program.

    I am very disappointed that my local BP ran out of cards about mid-February! I needed only one more card to complete the requirement of 5. I was told by the local BP to save my receipts and come back in. They never did get any more. Too bad too, because Mobile had the opportunity to do something good for their customers in this bad economy…but I feel BP fell down on the job here…..

So my question is where do I submit the reciepts and 3 other loyality card numbers?     Filled up 15 times at an average of $50 each time. Jumped through all your hoops to register 15 loyalty cards. Received only 2 gift cards. Used them both today…one gave me $10 in gas (less than 3 gallons)and the other stopped at $4.87 and the receipt came out saying my card balance is ZERO. So to summarize: I paid about $750 in gas to get three $10 gift cards. I only got 2 cards and one of them was only good for $4.87 — so I got scammed for roughly half of what I should have received. I WILL NOT SET FOOT IN ANOTHER BP GAS STATION FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE.

    a acknowledgement that my $10 BP Rewards Card would sent to me shortly. To date (4/8/11) I have not received this rewards card as yet.

    Shame on BP…

    I ave not been to BP since April… And I do not figure I will be going back anytime soon….

    I’m very lucky om how I spend my money, when I a company promises me something because Ive spent my money there.. I want whatever I was promised…

    I had to spend way over two hundred bucks and went outta my way to go to a BP station.

    BP needs to do the right thing..!!!

    I have been waiting for 6 months….. Really BP? you destroyed our oceans and then promise gift cards that will never be sent????? Amazing….. scammers!

    my friend and I have been waiting since January for 6 cards.. It really takes more than 5 months to send a card???? Not fair… we redeem them on time and went out of our way to get gas in this BP station… and now have to wait who knows for how long……. Not very happy…..

    I met all the criteria filled in all the codes. I received two of my three cards. BP’s response…check with your post office to assure they delivered your card to you…yeah right. Then it was check back after April 25th if you have not received your card. I did just that and was assured by your Customer Service Rep “Eva” that she would personally get my missing card out in the mail to me that day. Eva even provided me with a “confirmation number” and that took place on May 5th and today is July 6th. No card and BP’s credibility ranks right up there with that of many of our politicians.

    i submitted enough cards to have recieved three free 10.00 cards but to this date i have only recived one of the three. what in the h!!! does a person have to do to get the other two just let me know and i will do it. in these days of econimic failure i could use that other free gas you owe me or was this a scam.you tell me ….

    I won and registered mine at the end of August. I never got my $65 gas card either. I just wrote a letter to the company. I read on another site that ALOT of people didn’t get them. What a rip!
