$25 First Lifetime Referral Bonus
You’ll earn a $25 bonus for the first referral ever that you make to Ebates in your lifetime.
The $25 bonus is only applicable to your first lifetime qualified referral.
A qualified referral is a new user to Ebates who makes a purchase of $25 or more earning cash back.
$50 Bonus for 5 Referrals
You will earn a $50 bonus when you refer 5 new friends to Ebates from October 1st through December 31, 2012.
The $50 bonus is in addition to the $5 bonus per person that you normally receive from Ebates, which means you’ll earn $75 in total for referring 5 new members.
Your referrals must make a qualified purchase of $25 or more between October 1st and December 31st.
Up to $11,000 Holiday Referral Bonus

Quick question for you, I referred several of my friends (25 of them) to ebates this last quarter enough to qualify for the $250 dollar bonus. I emailed them about when that bonus would be paid but they didn’t answer my question and gave a very vague response. Do you have experience with them and how they pay their large referral bonuses? thanks

I have received tier-level bonus payouts in the past from Ebates, and they have always paid them in their regular quarterly checks, which also include the $5 per person referral bonuses and any earned shopping rebates.
I’ve only received the 10-person bonus payout, which I believe was $100 at the time, and it was paid in the check that came after the end of the quarter in which it was earned.
The Ebates check payment dates are as follows:
Purchase/Earning Period = Payment Date
Jan 1-Mar 31 = May 15
Apr 1-June 30 = Aug 15
July 1-Sept 30 = Nov 15
Oct 1-Dec 31 = Feb 15
So if you earned your referral bonus during the Oct-Dec quarter, you should receive payment within your check that is issued on February 15th.
This is how it worked for me, and how it works generally according to their terms, so hopefully that’s how it will work out for you as well.
