Just make a purchase at 3 or more different participating merchants through July 31st with any American Express card.
The combined purchases must total $150 or more.
You may register only 1 of your AMEX cards at amexnetwork.com/dcfreedom by July 31st in order to participate.
Registration must be completed prior to your transactions.

You must make at least 3 purchases at 3 different Washington Metropolitan Area participating merchants between July 1st and July 31, 2012.
Each individual purchase can be for any amount as long as the 3 purchases combined total $150 or more.
Only the first purchase made at a participating merchant will qualify for this offer, as subsequent purchases at the same participating merchant will not be eligible.
Participating Merchants
Online purchases made at participating merchants with brick and mortar stores are not eligible.
Online purchases made at participating merchants who only transact online and do not have brick and mortar stores are eligible.
For participating hotels, only payments for stay and/or charges to the room included as part of final hotel bill are eligible.
For participating attractions, only purchases of attraction tickets are eligible (e.g., merchandise purchases are not eligible) and the tickets must be purchased from the official participating vendor.

Qualified American Express Cards
There is a limit of 1 statement credit per card.
Prepaid and Corporate Card transactions are not eligible.
Statement credits are generally issued within 3 to 5 business days after your final qualifying purchase, but may take up to 2 billing cycles to post to your American Express Card account.
