You can file a claim to receive a class action settlement if you purchased Diamond of California Brand Walnuts, and no proof of purchase is required.

You are a member of the proposed Settlement Class if you purchased Diamond of California brand walnuts including Shelled, Halves, Chopped, Finely Diced, Chips, Nut Topping, and In-the-Shell Walnuts products in the United States from March 22, 2006, through January 30, 2012.

If you purchased 3-pound bags of Diamond of California walnuts at Sam’s Club, you are entitled to receive $8.25 per bag, or if you purchased any Diamond of California walnut product (other than the 3-pound bags), you are entitled to $3.25 per bag.

Proof of Purchase is not required for claims of 3 or less 3-pound bags of Walnuts or 5 or less bags of any other Walnut products.

Even with appropriate Proofs of Purchase, the maximum number of bags any single claimant may receive is capped at 24.

The deadline for submission of the Claim Form is September 7, 2012.
