If you purchased Emergen-C products in the United States from June 1, 2006, to February 27, 2012, you can receive up to $18 with no proof of purchase and up to $36 if you saved your receipts or box packaging.
There is a $6.45 million settlement over the marketing, advertising, and packaging of Emergen-C products including immunity-related, energy-related, and metabolism-related statements that they allegedly made.

The Settlement Class includes all persons who purchased Emergen-C products in the United States from June 1, 2006, to February 27, 2012.
File Your Claim
You must File Your Claim Online for this Emergen-C class action settlement by March 27, 2014, in order to receive your settlement fund.
How Much You Will Receive
If you have Proof of Purchase (valid receipt or box packaging), you can claim the full purchase price you paid for the products for up to a maximum recovery of $36.
If you have a receipt, you may seek reimbursement of the purchase price stated on the receipt.
If you have box packaging, you may seek reimbursement ranging from $4.36 to $12.97, depending on the products purchased.
If you do not have Proof of Purchase, you may file a claim for 75% of the average price per box package of the particular products you purchased for up to a maximum recovery of $18.

When Checks Will Be Issued
On April 2, 2014, the Superior Court of California County of San Francisco will hold a hearing to decide whether to give Final Approval to the settlement.
Payments will be issued to Settlement Class Members with valid Claims after the Court grants “Final Approval” and after any appeals are resolved.
