Packaged Ice Antitrust Class Action Lawsuit Settlement – No Proof of Purchase

If you purchased Packaged Ice from a retailer in Arizona, California, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, or Wisconsin that was made by Arctic Glacier, Home City Ice Company, or Reddy Ice at any time from January 1, 2001, to March 6, 2008, you may be entitled to a settlement claim of $6 with no proof of purchase required.

Supposedly, these companies violated U.S. antitrust law by conspiring to raise, fix, maintain, or stabilize the price of Packaged Ice.

The bankruptcy court will hold a final hearing on February 27, 2014, after which time, you will be able to File an Online Claim for this settlement, but you cannot file your claim until then.

You will be able to claim a cash reward of $6 if you purchased 3 or more bags of Packaged Ice with no proof of purchase required.

To receive more than $6, you must claim purchases of more than 10 bags of Packaged Ice and provide proof of purchase to receive $0.60 for each additional bag of Packaged Ice exceeding 10 bags.
