If you used a credit or debit card to make a purchase at a Toys”R”Us store from December 4, 2006, through January 5, 2007, you may be entitled to a class action settlement of $5 with no proof required or up to $30 if you saved your receipts.
Supposedly, Toys”R”Us violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act by printing more than the last 5 digits of credit and debit card numbers on receipts.
In order to participate, you must submit a claim by mail that must be postmarked by January 6, 2014.
You can print the Claim Forms from their website, but you cannot submit your claim online, so it takes a little extra effort to mail in your claim.

How Much You Can Claim
If you have no proof of purchase, you can claim 1 $5 voucher, but you must submit under penalty of perjury that you did make a qualifying purchase.
If you still have your proof of purchase, you can claim 1 $15 voucher if you made 1 or 2 qualifying purchases, or you can claim 2 $15 vouchers if you made 3 or more qualifying purchases.
Participating in this class action settlement will take a little bit of extra work, since you have to submit the claim form by mail, but it may be worth it to receive up to $30 in vouchers, especially if you still have your proof of purchase to submit along with your claim.
