Economic Stimulus Tax Rebate Check Shopping Gift Card Bonuses

Americans will soon begin receiving their economic stimulus checks of at least $300 for qualified adults (with a maximum of $600 depending on your income) and an additional $300 per qualified child.

To get some extra cash and stretch your tax rebate stimulus a little further, you can cash-in your stimulus checks at participating merchants for gift cards and receive an additional 10% bonus.

That means for each $300 you earn through your economic stimulus tax rebate check, you’ll receive a shopping gift card worth $330 at the store of your choice.

Kmart, Sears, and Lands’ End

Bring your tax stimulus check to a Sears or Kmart cash register and you can convert the amount of the check into gift cards, which will include a bonus gift card worth an additional 10% of your check. The amount of the gift card must be equal to the full value of your stimulus check, and the gift card can be redeemed at Sears, Kmart, or Lands’ End. SUPERVALU Supermarkets

Bring your economic stimulus check to any SUPERVALU customer service counter, including Acme, Albertsons, bigg’s, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh, Hormbacher’s, Jewel-Osco, Lucky, Shaw’s/Star Market, Shop’n Save, and Shoppers Food & Farmacy, and you can exchange your tax rebate stimulus check for store gift cards in $300 increments, plus an additional 10% bonus will be added to your gift cards. Kroger Supermarkets

Bring your economic stimulus tax rebate check to Kroger Supermarkets, including Kroger, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Hilander, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen’s, Pay Less, Ralphs, Smith’s, and QFC stores, and you can get a gift card for the value of your check, plus a 10% bonus. RadioShack

Use your stimulus check or IRS refund check in amounts up to $2,500 as a form of payment at RadioShack stores to make a qualifying purchase of at least $50, and you’ll receive a 10% discount, plus any remaining value of your check will be added to a prepaid MasterCard that can be used anywhere, valid from May 4 to July 12, 2008. Roundy’s Supermarkets

Roundy’s Supermarkets is offering customers who bring their government tax stimulus rebate checks to any Pick ‘n Save, Copps, Rainbow, or Metro Market store a 10% bonus on store gift cards, plus a selection of free Roundy’s products for participating.

For every $300 in Roundy’s Supermarket gift card purchases made with your tax rebate stimulus check, you will receive an extra $30 cash bonus. You can purchase less than the total amount of your tax stimulus check in $300 increments.
