Please note that the find print for the offer on the Amazon product pages indicates, “The promotion is valid for a limited time, from January XX, 2016 at 12am PST to July 31, 2016 at 11:59pm PST.” However, I have discussed this with Amazon Customer Service Representatives, and they indicate that this offer is indeed available in 2017 for the 2016 tax year and that this is simply a mistake, so the fine print is incorrect and still needs to be updated. Amazon went so far as to say that if for any reason H&R Block does not provide the 5% or 10% bonus on your Amazon Gift Card, that you should simply contact Amazon Customer Service, and that Amazon will add the 5% or 10% bonus to your Amazon Gift Card for you. So this offer is definitely available.
