New card members will earn 50,000 bonus points when you spend at least $500 on qualifying purchases within the first 60 days of account opening.
You can redeem your rewards points through KeyBank Relationship Rewards at a rate of 12,500 points per $25 statement credit to your credit card account.
This means that your 50,000 bonus points are worth a value of $100 in statement credits.
You can also redeem your points for gift cards, travel, merchandise, and charity donations.
To qualify for the 50,000 introductory rewards points, you must have a KeyBank checking account open and in good standing.
You do not need to enroll your checking account in the Relationship Rewards program to earn these Rewards Points, but if you choose to enroll your KeyBank checking account in Relationship Rewards, there may be an annual fee based on the type of checking account that is enrolled.
Key2More Rewards Card 5X Points and Monthly Bonuses
You will earn 5 points for every $1 spent on every eligible credit card purchases with no limit to how much you can earn.
If you spend $1,000 to $1,999 per calendar month with your KeyBank credit card, you will earn a 25% monthly points bonus.
If you spend $2,000 or more per calendar month with your KeyBank credit card, you will earn a 50% monthly points bonus.
Points for $2,000 or more are awarded as an additional 25% bonus to add up to the 50% bonus.
Monthly bonus points are awarded per credit card account based on the aggregated amount spent per month by all signers linked to the credit card account.
It’s important to note that since the redemption rate in the KeyBank Relationship Rewards program has a value of 1 cent per 5 points redeemed, you will be earning an equivalent of 1% cash back on all of your purchases at the standard 5X points earning rate, not including any monthly points bonuses.
However, if you are a KeyBank checking account customer, it may be worth while to apply for the Key2More Rewards Credit Card to earn the $100 welcome bonus and monthly bonus points based on your spending.
