The PayPal Referral Program gives both new and current members a $5 bonus that is deposited directly into your PayPal accounts.

Current PayPal members who have access to the referral program can refer new members to PayPal, and you’ll both receive a $5 bonus after the new member makes an eligible purchase of $5 or more at any PayPal-accepting merchant within 14 days of joining PayPal.

This PayPal refer-a-friend promotion is separate from the PayPal Prepaid Card Referral Bonus that is also currently available, and it is also unrelated to the PayPal Merchant Referral Program that has been available in the past.

This is a completely new PayPal consumer account referral program that allows both new and current members to get an extra $5 bonus deposited into your PayPal accounts.

How To Get $5 PayPal New Account Bonus

2. Sign up for a free PayPal account with your email address and password.

3. Check out online using PayPal at any participating merchant and spend $5 or more within 14 days of joining.

4. Get a $5 bonus deposited into your PayPal account after you make your first eligible purchase with PayPal.

PayPal Referral Program $5 Bonuses

When a current PayPal member refers a new member to PayPal, you will both receive a $5 bonus after the new member makes a qualifying purchase of $5 or more within 14 days of joining.

To participate in the PayPal referral offer, referrers must have a U.S. PayPal account in good standing at the time you send an invitation and when rewards are issued.

An eligible transaction for the referee is an online checkout payment of at least $5 USD, which is marked as “complete” in the referee’s account and which has not been canceled, refunded, or reversed by either the referee or the seller. Send Money payments are not eligible.

Referrers and referees may earn up to $100 USD in rewards through this program.

This offer is for U.S. PayPal accounts only.

The $5 rewards will post to your PayPal balance soon after the referee completes their first eligible transaction.

Standard rewards are $5, but this amount may vary in the event of special promotions or alternative offers.

How To Access Your PayPal Referral Link

Please note that the PayPal referral offer appears to be targeted to select users at this time.

I was unable to locate my referral link within my PayPal account.

It could possibly only be available in select users’ accounts or only sent out to select users via email, but it does not look like this program is openly available to all PayPal accounts at this time.

You may also wish to check in the PayPal App to see if you can access your referral link from there, as that is a reported working source for accessing the referral program.
