Delta Airlines has announced that they will begin waiving baggage fees for Gold, Platinum, and Reserve American Express Delta SkyMiles credit card members, starting June 1, 2010.

If you have a qualifying American Express Delta Airlines rewards card, you’ll receive Waived Baggage Fees on your first checked bag (for up to 9 people per reservation) on all of your Delta flights.

The Delta SkyMiles Airline Rewards Program allows you to earn free Delta flights and other travel discounts when you join for free.

Plus, when you apply for a new Delta Airlines Rewards Credit Card, you’ll receive bonus miles, which will help you earn free flights faster, in addition to the miles you’ll earn for your everyday purchases and on Delta flights.

Take advantage of this opportunity to get your baggage fees waived if you are a current American Express Delta Gold, Platinum, or Reserve credit card member, or apply for a new Delta card to earn extra bonus miles after you make qualifying purchases.

Of course, you don’t have to apply for a Delta rewards card to get a Free Airline Ticket from American Express.
