LYFT Offers Free Rides in 24 Cities through May 8th

The LYFT on-demand driver service is offering free rides from April 24th to May 8, 2014, in select new cities.

LYFT is a mobile app for affordable rides that allows customers to request rides on a smartphone and have drivers pick you up within minutes and take you to any destination.

LYFT just launched in 24 new cities, and to celebrate, they’re offering up to 50 free rides to anywhere in these cities for up to $25 each ride.

This Lyftapalooza Promotion is for new riders in the new cities only.

  • Corpus Christi
  • Fresno
  • Jacksonville
  • Kansas City
  • Lexington
  • Lincoln
  • Louisville
  • Memphis
  • Modesto
  • New Haven
  • Newark
  • Oklahoma City
  • Omaha
  • Raleigh Durham
  • Rochester
  • San Bernardino
  • Spokane
  • Toledo
  • Tulsa
  • Virginia Beach

Just download the LYFT app for 2 weeks of free rides.

There is a limit of 50 rides in total.

Each free ride is valid for up to $25, and you will be responsible for any fares over the $25 limit.

If you live in any other city and haven’t tried Lyft yet, then you can get this LYFT Free Ride Credit that is available in any city.

You can also participate in the LYFT Referral Program to earn additional free ride credits.

LYFT is somewhat similar to the UBER Driver Service that also allows you to request rides with your smartphone, although LYFT is more of a social sharing service, in that the rides are provided by individual people in their own cars and not by professional driver services.
