American Express has announced that Small Business Saturday registration will begin on November 24, 2013.
However, the big news is that the bonus credit that is available to American Express card members has been reduced from a $25 statement credit to a $10 statement credit.

American Express card members will get a 1-time $10 statement credit when you register any eligible American Express card and use it on November 30, 2013, to spend $10 or more in a single in-store transaction at a qualifying small business that appears on the Small Business Saturday Map.
Registration opens at 12:00 A M. MST (Mountain Standard Time) on November 24, 2013, and continues until 11:59 P.M. MST on November 30, 2013, unless the registration limit is reached sooner.
You must register your AMEX card at ShopSmall.com once registration opens.
You must use your registered card on November 30, 2013, to spend $10 or more in a single in-store transaction.
Online transactions do not qualify.
You’ll receive your 1-time $10 statement credit within 90 days after November 30, 2013.
