You can apply for a new credit card, and it does not require a Social Security Number, security deposit, or a co-signer.

All new applicants will be considered for the Deserve Edu MasterCard, which provides 1% cash back on all purchases with up to $5,000 credit limits and no annual fee or security deposit required.

Students who already have established a credit history can apply for the Deserve Pro MasterCard, which offers the highest credit limits of up to $10,000 with no annual fee, plus you earn 3% cash back on travel and entertainment purchases, 2% cash back at restaurants, and 1% cash back on all of your other card purchases.

In order to apply, you’ll be required to verify the following items:

  • Proof of a U.S. bank account balance.
  • Your passport ID and Student Visa.
  • Your I-20 form.

You can upload these documents from your computer or Cloud storage service.

    I have 3 credit cards and the Deserve Edu MasterCard was my first one. It had by far the easiest application and best app interface. Definitely my best and most favorite card. The SelfScore credit score estimate is 20-30 points off but still fairly accurate.

    It’s fabulous – you don’t need ssn or credit history to apply for deserve edu. You get 1% cashback on everything, no annual fee or foreign transaction fee. I was approved $300 limit in October, and 5 months later they increased my credit limit to $800. Their customer service is just fine, not as good as Discover though. Still highly recommended for students, especially those international students who just came to the US.

    I’d strongly recommend to start building your credit history. I regret not doing that earlier. I came across this card which is the best since it does not impact your credit score and pays for Amazon prime student membership for 1 year along with a sign up bonus of 30$.     It’s basically free money so there isn’t any reason not to apply. It is great for people who have no existing credit like college students who need to start somewhere. They also give important advise and online videos to teach you how to build your credit. This is a must have!
