If you want to respond to Andy directly, you would have to reply to his comment below.
However, the Fundrise referral program terms do not indicate that neither party will get the bonus if the referrer is maxed out already.
It only indicates that the referrer is capped at $900 in any given 12-month period.
From my understanding, a referrer can refer as many people as they like, and those referees can each earn bonuses, regardless of whether the referrer is maxed out for the year already.
Did you receive information in regards to this directly from Fundrise or another source that indicates differently?

Appreciate the response. Yes, I wanted to make sure that if I used a referral that offered $100, and the referrer had reached the cap, that I would still receive a bonus. The reply from Fundrise was I would not receive a bonus if the referrer reached his cap. If in practice others have had success, that would be great information. I’d like to invest with Fundrise, and if a $100 bonus is on the table, I’d rather use that referral versus a basic $10.

I reached out to Fundrise customer support, and they indicated to me that a referrer can refer an unlimited number of new customers, and the new customers will all receive the sign-up bonus, regardless of whether the referrer has reached their cap within any given 12-month period.

Me: Hello, in regards to your referral program, I have reached my $900 limit for the year, but if I continue to refer more friends, will they still get a bonus when they join through my referral, or can I no longer give a bonus to my friends once I reach my limit, until it refreshes next year? Even though I don’t get a bonus, I would still like to give a bonus to my friends.

Hello Brian,
You will receive bonus shares, so your bonus is automatically invested in the Fundrise Real Estate Interval Fund (flagship fund) when you receive it, so you cannot just let it sit in your account as a “cash balance.”
The Interval Fund will offer quarterly liquidity (in the form of quarterly repurchase offers) with zero penalties or costs associated with liquidating Interval Fund shares.
So you could receive your bonus, start earning on your investment fund, and then cash out during the next quarterly liquidity period.
However, Fundrise investments are generally meant to be held for longer periods in order to allow your holdings to grow.
