I emailed the Hooch customer service and here was their reply to the $5 TAP per linked bank offer:
“Thanks for reaching out. Yes, that was our initial promotion that has since ended. You now receive $5 TAP for your first card only”
Seems that $5 is the limit now no matter how many banks you link and no one should be getting more regardless of the app version used.

Yes it does in Android as well and I replied to the Hooch customer rep asking them to let their IT people know so I would expect it to possibly be revised in the next app update.

I used the Android version of the app & I tapped the Tap icon in the upper right hand corner & linked them from there. They all showed up in my account but the Tap balance didn’t advance.

Hi, from the home page, scroll down to the “ways to earn” section, then tap “link a card”. Then you should see the “plaid” interface. If you link a card here it should work.

Let me just say, WOW! I have never earned a $20 gift card faster. It did ask me if I lived in one of 5 major cities, which I didn’t, so I just picked the closest one. The code should not be necessary, but I made it available just in case it was requested at some point that I wasn’t aware of.
I’m not sure why you wouldn’t receive the additional bonuses.
Can I ask which version of the app you are using between iOS and Android? It worked on the iOS version for me.
It could possibly be the method by which you added the card, but I’m not sure if that makes a difference. Check out Dave’s comment for the way he did it.
