Chase $125 Checking Bonus Promotional Details

This offer is not available to existing Chase checking customers, fiduciary accounts, and those who have closed an account within 90 days.

You must deposit $100 or more within 60 days of account opening.

You must set up a monthly electronic direct deposit from your employer or the government of your payroll, pension, or government benefits, such as Social Security.

You must have your direct deposit made to this account within 60 days of account opening.

The account must be in good standing to receive the bonus.

You’ll receive your $125 bonus within 10 business days after your initial direct deposit is posted to your new account.

There is a limit of 1 checking account-related bonus per customer per calendar year.

If your checking account is closed within 6 months, Chase will deduct the bonus amount at closing.

If you do not have the coupon code at the time that you open your account, you will have 7 days after opening your new account to supply a coupon code and still qualify for the $125 bonus.

    I was declined because there is not a local branch in my area. Even though they say “apply online”, it’s not available to anyone. Chase must have a local branch. I feel like cheated. :(

    Me and my GF also applied online (from CA). There was no indication that we were denied. We just never got any account info. After talking to the Presidents office, they promised to take care of it (setting up the accounts). After a few weeks, I was suddenly told by the President’s office that the accounts were denied. They refused to give us any reason why….

    Really poor policy from Chase! They should be ashamed not disclosing the locale limitation to the customers. Just causes a lot of extra work and frustration for everyone..

I do not qualify because just one of my pay checks is only $375.00 weekly, which means I make over $500.00 month. No, you must make at least 1 direct deposit of $500 no two or more equaling $500. count. So only if you make $500 per pay check or on Social Securiy go no further.

    That opening bonus is gone before a year is up with those monthly fees if you don’t keep a daily balance of over 1500 in the account… one reason I won’t go back to Chase.

    You must keep your checking account open for a minimum of 6 months, or Chase may debit the bonus cash from your account upon closing.

    However, you don’t necessarily need to park a certain amount of money in your account during that period in regards to qualifying for the bonus.

    You just need to keep your account open.
