This free account is definitely worth signing up for as they have plenty of ongoing bonuses for using their debit card. Recently, they had targeted email bonuses for 10% back on debit purchases, and $150 for signing up for the plus membership and making $1000 worth of debit purchases. $50 is for the first $250 spent, ok.. So how does one get the $100? Does the person spend an additional $750 to make the total $1k, or an additional $1k to make the total $1.25k.
It’s not very clear on this point.

Hi Jack, I spoke to the Customer Support team, that $50 is for first $250 spent which can either through Debit Card or online Bill Payment directly from account
Whereas to get $100, we need to spend $1k within 60 days using only DEBIT CARD, non Debit card transaction e.g ePay will not count.
