PSECU (Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union) is currently offering a $300 bonus that is available to anybody in the U.S.A. when you open a new PSECU savings and checking account with debit card, login to digital banking, and receive 2 payroll direct deposits each of $500 or more within 100 days of establishing membership, plus current PSECU members can earn a $50 referral bonus for sharing PSECU with friends and family for up to $500 in bonus rewards per year.

While PSECU only has credit union locations in Pennsylvania, anybody in the U.S.A. is eligible for PSECU Membership when you join the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS) for a 1-time fee of $20, and PSECU will cover $10 when you open your PSECU account online.

When you join PSECU, a $5 minimum deposit is required in a Regular share account, but the $5 minimum share purchase will be made on behalf of new members by PSECU, and if your membership account is closed within the first year of membership, the initial $5 share will be retained by PSECU.

PSECU $50 Refer-A-Friend Rewards

    They paid the $250 DDep bonus within one week!
    When applying, just keep saying no to all “qualified ways to become a member” including being a member of the society . they will finally say – you can join the society for $20, we’ll pay half. Be sure to make initial deposit $25.
    – Be sure to ask for checking and for debit card to get bonus.
    – After getting emails and setting up online, you can’t get you Acct Number ! Go to Support and send a message to ask them for you checking acct number!
    More info following successful application:
    Email says “Your member account number can be found in your PSECU Welcome Packet”.  Don’t go there, waste of time. Rather, go to https://www.psecu.com/ and click “sign up for digital banking” , even though you don’t know your account number! This will take you to Let’s Find Your Account.
    Fill in the blanks, and next page will send you a text. Do that.
    Next box, click the DOT next to partial acct # and NEXT. Create your chosen username and password, and Login! OK, you are IN.
    Now, to find your account #. “In digital banking, simply tap Profile & Settings under the drop-down menu in the upper left, scroll down, and tap Account Number. You can then select the View Account Number at the bottom. When you need to complete a DD form using this number, be sure to include all ten numbers. Our ABA/Routing number is 231381116. “

    PSECU is offering a super-simple $250 checking bonus: Open a checking account, debit card, and digital banking, then perform a Direct Deposit of $200+ within 90 days of membership. Terms state bonus is paid within 45 days of meeting terms, however, many see an overnight payout on the day the first Direct Deposit arrives.

    – They pull Chex, but are not inquiry-sensitive online. I open 1-3 checking accts/month and I was approved out of state (OOS) within a couple of days. This offer is nationwide if you are willing to pay a small fee.  The PSECU application will direct you to join the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS) and PSECU will reimburse $10 of your $20 fee.  If you are not approved for PSECU, you do not pay the fee.

    – They will hard pull your credit report. Normally Experian, but they will pull Transunion if Experian is frozen.

    – Credit Card Funding Options: Visa or MasterCard, but only $100.

    – ETF: None. However, for the $250 bonus, you are supposed to continue with 6 months of Direct Deposits and keep the account open for a year, but I’ve seen DP’s indicating they do not revoke the bonus if you do not do so.

    – Schwab or Fidelity Brokerage, Capital One or Wells Fargo Checking, have been known to work as a simulated DD to earn the $250 bonus.  YMMV and please do not call to verify.

    – There are no monthly fees for the share savings or checking accounts.  $5 is required to be maintained in the Member Share savings until you close the account.  They do offer a free order of checks.

    Once approved, they will give you your member number.  Unlike most credit unions and banks, the PSECU member number can be used to set up ACH transfers.  The transfer will automatically go to your checking account.

    I received my $100 almost immediately after account being opened. Hard pull. Account opening processing takes a few days. Be patient and you should get your bonus. Feel free to do the $250 bonus if you could have direct deposit hit your account. Thank you.

    Make sure y’all join the park and recreational society while applying for PSECU, meaning during the application process, choose “no” when asked if you are a member, and then you will be walked through joining the society and get the discounted $10. I hit “yes” and application was finished before I knew it. Of course, I ended up paying $20. Hope this helps.
