Star One $200 Bonus for New Membership and Opening Checking Account

Star One IRA $100 Promotional Offer

Star One Credit Union’s referral program is back, except that bonuses are now being given out as gift cards by email. The offer is $200 for signing up with checking/savings accounts as a new customer and $100 for the referrer. Same requirements (none basically other than approval). No direct deposit or debit card usage/bill pay requirements. You do need to live/work/go to school within their footprint or be employed by one of their partners to get approved. No OOS this time around.
However, if you qualify to open an account with them, it’s a very easy bonus otherwise. I do not know if they have credit card funding currently available or not. You will need to keep at least $50 in your money market savings share account to maintain an account with the credit union. There are no monthly or inactivity fees to worry about that I am aware of. Transfers are fast and customer service is prompt and friendly. No promo code, you just need to register with my referral link and your preferred email address ahead of time.
As a referrer, you can refer up to (3) new customers per year and receive a referral bonus for each new qualifying referral in the form of an electronic gift card. The gift card is likely a virtual Visa or Mastercard because if it were Amazon, I’m sure that would have been mentioned in the terms. Your eligibility will be verified, and this requirement for the referral program will be enforced.
