Upgrade has a new $50 referral program (both parties) for Boost Money. Requires two $200 DD’s within 90 days to earn the bonus. Boost Money seems to be a cross between a checking account and a secured credit card. I am not sure about the details though, like if it’s a hard pull to open the account, or if it’s possible to get approved with frozen credit. Offer expires 3/30/2026. Product is limited to certain (most) states.

Run, don’t walk from Upgrade. I have spent hours on the phone with them resolving various issues. You are required to open multiple accounts to earn the bonuses. Each account has their own customer service desk and can only deal with that account. You will spend lots of your valuable time trying to get transferred to someone that can help.

I signed up for an Upgrade Premier Savings account using a referral about a week ago. I previously had a checking account with Upgrade so the application only took a couple of minutes and my account was opened right away. I immediately received my referral link.
This is a really good offer in my opinion due to the various bonus tiers and the 5.21% APY rate on your money. There is a $1000 minimum to receive that APY. Make sure to deposit your money before the account has been open for 30 days and then leave it all in there for at least 3 months from opening to qualify for the bonus.
