ValorFi Heroes Digital Credit Union: 5% APY Primary Checking on up to $5,000 Balance and 4.25% APY High-Yield Savings

ValorFi Heroes is a digital credit union launched by Gesa Credit Union that serves educators, first responders, healthcare workers, law enforcement, veterans and their supporters (basically anyone) by providing high-yield savings accounts, checking accounts and certificates of deposit (CDs) with high rates and no maintenance fees.

If you are looking to park your money with a high interest rate, you can currently open a Primary Checking Account and receive a 5% APY on up to a $5,000 balance when you meet the monthly qualifications, and/or open a High-Yield Savings Account with a 4.25% APY on all balance tiers when you meet the requirements.

For the Primary Checking Account, the monthly requirements to receive a 5% APY on balances up to $5,000 include having a direct deposit of $200 or more and making 15 debit card transactions, which may not be that easy for everyone.

However, to earn the 4.25% APY on all balance tiers with the High-Yield Savings Account, you just need to maintain a valid email address and enroll in eStatements, so anyone can easily earn a 4.25% APY on your entire deposit balance with this account, making it one of the highest rates available right now that is easily attainable.

While ValorFi Heroes does provide open membership to anyone who wants to join, they do not currently offer membership to residents of California, Idaho, Illinois, Oregon, and Washington.

ValorFi Heroes Primary Checking 5% APY on up to $5,000

With a ValorFi Heroes Primary Checking Account, you can earn a 5% APY on balances of up to $5,000 with no monthly fees.

In order to earn a 5% APY on your balances of up to $5,000, you must meet the following requirements during the qualifying monthly period:

• Provide and maintain a valid email address.
• Be enrolled to receive eStatements.
• Have recurring payroll or benefit direct deposit of $200 or more.
• Apply and maintain a debit card.
• Make 15 debit card transactions.

If the requirements are not met during the monthly qualifying period, the “non-qualifying” 0.01% APY would apply to the entire balance, and balances of $5,000.01 or more earn 0.01% APY.

There is a minimum opening deposit of $25.

While some of these monthly requirements may not be that easy for everyone to achieve, such as the 15 debit card transactions, you can still qualify for a 4.25% APY with the High-Yield Savings Account, which has much easier requirements.

ValorFi Heroes High-Yield Savings 4.25% APY on All Balance Tiers

With a ValorFi Heroes High-Yield Savings, you can earn a 4.25% APY on all balance tiers with no monthly fees.

In order to earn a 4.25% APY, you must meet the following requirements during the qualifying monthly period:

• Provide and maintain a valid email address.
• Be enrolled to receive eStatements.

If the requirements are not met during the monthly qualifying period, the “non-qualifying” 0.01% APY would apply to the entire balance, and balances of $5,000.01 or more earn 0.01% APY.

There is a minimum opening deposit of $5, but there are no monthly fees and no minimum balance requirements to maintain your account thereafter.
