The new United Quest Card offers up to 100,000 bonus miles, a $125 annual United purchase credit, 2 5,000-mile anniversary award credits, free first and second checked bags, 3X miles on United purchases, and 2X miles on all other travel purchases, with a $250 annual fee.
When you apply for the United Quest Card directly on the Chase.com website, you’ll earn up to 100,000 bonus miles.
After you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months, you’ll earn 80,000 bonus miles, and you’ll get an additional 20,000 bonus miles after you spend $10,000 total in the first 6 months.
When you redeem miles on a United or United Express-operated award flight, you’ll get 5,000 miles back in your MileagePlus account, for up to 2 times every anniversary year.
In addition, you’ll receive up to $125 in statement credits annually for United purchases, which include airline tickets, seat upgrades, Economy Plus, inflight food and beverages, Wi-Fi, baggage service charges, United fees, and United Card Events from Chase.
For both you and a companion traveling on the same reservation, your first and second checked bags are free for a savings of up to $320 per roundtrip.
On top of that, you’ll earn 3X miles on United Airlines purchases (immediately after earning your $125 annual United purchase credit) as well as 2X miles on all other travel, restaurants and select streaming services, and 1X mile on everything else.
For the 2X miles on travel purchases, this includes airfare, trains, local transit, cruise lines, hotels, car rentals, taxicabs, resorts, ride share services, and tolls.
Other travel benefits include up to a $100 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck fee credit, priority boarding, 25% back on United inflight purchases, no blackout dates, no foreign transaction fees, and 500 Premier qualifying points for every $12,000 spent (up to 3,000 PQP in a calendar year).
The United Quest Card does come with a $250 annual fee, which is NOT waived for the first year at this time, so this card is really only ideal if you plan to immediately utilize the various rebates and rewards.
You can also check out the United MileagePlus Explorer Card to get 35,000 bonus miles and a $250 statement credit with a $95 annual fee that is waived for the first year.
This United Quest Card is available to you if you do not have any United Quest Card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for any United Quest Card in the past 24 months.
