The post needs a tweak. The main thing that has changed is the 16th free stock is either Expedia or Telsa if you deposit $5k. The approximate value has not changed, so it really wasn’t a downgrade or upgrade, depending on the markets of course.

Seems as good as any time to sign up for Moomoo, since it is a decent nearly guaranteed win and not a complete game of chance. No HP, no Chex hit, no monthly/annual fee, no ETF. Simple sign-up, no selfies or uploads IME. App is not required, but helpful for obtaining your own referral link. Although app is named Moomoo, most of the documents will reference Futu.

FYI, this only works if your bank account is the same as your Moomoo account; if you have a joint account with your bank, you’ll be unable to deposit or withdrawal from Moomoo. Or if you share a bank with someone but it’s in their name (like my wife uses my bank in my name for some reasons), it doesn’t matter if you prove access to the bank via Plaid or ACH micro-deposits, they don’t let you use the bank unless it matches your Moomoo account.
