Planet Fitness Referrals for Free Monthly Fees

To access the Planet Fitness Referral Program, you must download the Planet Fitness Mobile App for iOS or Android devices.

After you open the PF App, click the “Refer A Friend” option in the Just For You section, and you can share your unique referral link with all of your workout buddies.

For each successful referral who starts a new Planet Fitness membership after clicking your referral link, you will receive a credit of 1 month of membership fees.

Although you can refer an unlimited number of people to Planet Fitness, you can only earn up to a maximum of 3 total months of free membership fees per calendar year, and your referral count will reset at the beginning of each calendar year.

Any fee credits that you earn will be automatically credited against upcoming monthly membership fees due under your active Planet Fitness membership, and they will not count against any past-due amounts or your annual membership fee, plus credits cannot be transferred if you transfer your membership to another club.

Even if you decide to freeze your Planet Fitness membership for a period of time, your referral credits will be retained until the end of each calendar year, so any credits that you have will be immediately applied or applied at the next available billing cycle once you unfreeze your account.

However, if you cancel your Planet Fitness membership, you will forfeit any earned referral credits, and you will not be able to apply them to any future billing statements, even if you rejoin Planet Fitness.
