They need to honor exactly as it states on receipt! … “Buy one get one ANY sandwich (equal or lesser value)”
ANY Sandwich!!!
Double quarter pounder
Cajun crispy chicken sandwich
Fish filet
Buy The first sandwich of your choice (any price)
Get the second sandwich of your choice ( equal or lesser value as the first) for free!!!
Not a surprise!!! Only applys to 2 sandwiches that are unposted not mentioned anywhere!!! and only the cashier might know them but usually finally informed after the first order I gave was rejected. Picked a different sandwich two of the same and that as well was rejected . Cashier just says IDK…….. Then finally we find out it’s only a select 2 sandwiches*quarter pounder or egg McMuffin.

Much improved, everything the new management. Who knows, It does not matter, as I am no longer an investor in the MCD investment program. But I love the dividends.

I live in florida near The Villages and the mcdonalds doesnt give a rats back side much. One restaurant changed the bogo on any sandwich to a free small drink with 10 days to redeem. The any sandwich was great. People that cant have red meat could get chicken. More money mcdonalds makes the more they cut back value. Sad. And if diabetic forget it. Diet coke or tea. No diet lemonade.
Joe McDouglass says
My receipt says “free sandwich” buy one get one free. I ordered a double-quarter pounder with cheese and wanted the second one free. I was told that this doesn’t apply to the DOUBLE quarter pounder and only the single. Doesn’t say that on the receipt at all. What am I missing other than the manager not wanting the BOGO to eat into their margins? Smells like BS…

Well you can tell the buger been sitting for a while and they just took the onions off and when i bite into it it was raw the frys was so under cook, We will no longer be going to any McDonalds any more after one bite that costed 7.08 and had to throw it away. It’s sad we use to realy love going to McDonalds.

The service was slow. They had to bring the order to the car. When I got home I found out they was missing a sandwich 🥪. Now I have to waste my time and gas ⛽ to go back 🔙 up there to pick up the mistake they made.
Thaman says
Could you have double checked said order before leaving the property and remedy said issue, instead of finding out, way after directly driving home?

I have problems every time I go to the McDonald’s @ 10715 Se 240thST in kent. I’ve been a customer of McDonald’s for 50+ years! For the last five years I seem to be having problems with almost any McDonald’s, but especially this particular one. Of the last five times I’ve been to this one, every one of my orders have been incorrect! Three of the five I caught their mistakes before I left and twice I had to drive back! Their managers are just as rude as the regular employees and every time I let them know they messed up my order, they look at me like their crazy! Then they ask…well did you specify when you placed the order! And I show them the receipt they just say oh well hold on. Thats why I always say yes when they ask….want your receipt! Also they need to place someone who can communicate more clearly at the drive through, I noticed that can really take up time and become very frustrating!! I can actually go on and on, but I would end up writing a book!

Your receipts you cannot read the code numbers in order to try to get one for one it is stupid you people have gone way out to kill your own business I’m going down the road to Wendy’s it seems that sometimes I think the top echelon goes out of their way to aggravate the customers not having printable receipts to be able to go and try to get one for one I think really you people just don’t want our business anymore that price jumping up on the prices idea so she’s in Egg McMuffin‘s that wasn’t necessary not at that particular time with people out of work that was a very very bad decision

So I haven’t been back to McDonald’s for breakfast in a year. Reason why is because twice I had received a biscuit that was hard as a rock I could not eat. I went through the drive-through in good faith last weekend hoping to get a nice biscuit, again hard as a rock. I called and the manager said I could come in next Saturday and get a free meal. I told the manager that just now today and they act like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Very very dissatisfied !! Horrible customer service!! When I called back the manager to talk about it she wanted to argue with me. I won’t be back to get Chick-fil-A has my money now

So I stopped at one of the participating McDonald’s and order. 1 big Mac and one quarter pounder w/cheeses and 2 other sandwichs . So I got to the window and handed her the receipt and she told I couldn’t use because I didn’t buy 2 big macs. Is this true or is it buy what is at the top of receipt (ex.) big Mac or breakfast sandwich etc. or is it second sandwich of any choice.?

Dear Carmen: My understanding is that when you use your coupon you can order any sandwich and get one for free; it’s usually easier to get two of the exact same type of sandwich. So if you order 1 Big Mac and use your coupon with your validation code number, you get another or second Big Mac for free. However, the receipt does state: “Buy any sandwich and get one of equal or lesser value free.” In other words, if you buy a sandwich for $5.99, you can get a second sandwich of any type that costs $5.99 OR LESS for free with your purchase of the first sandwich. Maybe the cashier didn’t understand you. Further, was the price of the other two sandwiches equal to or lesser than the price of the first? If the price of the supposed free second sandwich was more, then you could buy and pay for that one and the other one, which is cheaper, or the same price, for free. I also have thought about this offer, which is great, but would like to get a free coffee, for example, with the purchase of a sandwich; or free fries, perhaps, instead of a second sandwich. The way they have it set up is that a person can get ALOT of food, using the Deal or Coupons, for a lot less money, but that leaves the price and purchase of beverage, fries, etc., extra. Probably they should just have the Coupon Deal set up so that you can buy a sandwich, or, let’s say, any item on the menu, and get a second item of whatever type for free.

I periodically get hassled when I order something like 2 Big Macs and a Hamburger or 2 Big Macs and 2 hamburgers.
Sometimes the window cashier insists that she/he has to give me the Hamburger as the FREE burger.
Does the McDonald’s website actually give an example of how to correctly implement the Buy 1 get 1 of equal or (preferably?) lesser value free?
