I got this inadvertently when my gym had accidentally overcharged me and then issued an ACH refund of $150. It took me a while to figure out where the $100 came from! So it seems that the source of funds for the “direct deposit” requirement is not too stringent on this offer.
Total piece of luck for me, I had no idea bank bonus programs even existed until this happened.
