    Same here, in fact I applied twice, after speaking with the online account manager, Katie Wood, after their first decline, who assured me the 1st decline was a mistake and that I should re-apply and will be approved. I was not. Just got the 2nd “ding” letter in the mail yesterday. So I called her again yesterday, and she essentially said, “I’m sorry…” They didn’t offer any other help. I fully expected her to say, “sorry for our mistake, I’ll make sure that account is opened and approved.” Disappointing to be sure. And now the $150 promotion has expired. Perhaps an indication as to why First Mariner is on the threshold of insolvency?
